 We are now accepting waitlist submissions for the fall 2024/2025 school year. To join our waitlist, please read the information and fill out the form below.

We are a 10 month preschool program and our enrollment is mid-August each year, aligning with the Camdenton School District’s first day of school. Occasionally an opening will become available in a class during the school year. Your position on the waitlist determines when you get a call about an available opening.

The average wait time for enrollment varies depending on several factors such as timing, desired schedule, and age. While we do have a mixed age group, there are a limited number of two-year-old spots available each year.

When space is available for their child and parents are notified of the opening, parents are given 48 hours to notify us of their decision to either accept or decline the enrollment offer. If parents fail to contact us within the 48-hour period, the assumption is made that the family is no longer interested in our program and the child’s name will be removed from the waitlist. 

Note: Placing your child on our waitlist does not ensure a place in our school but does serve to keep your child’s name on our list of prospective students. Your child’s place on the waitlist is determined by the date we receive your waitlist form.

Guidelines

To accommodate the many families that would like to have their child(ren) attend Play Learn Achieve Academy, the following guidelines have been established:

A parent may add their child’s name to the waitlist at any time, even if their child is not yet old enough to attend PLA Academy. The child is eligible to attend when he/she is 2 years old. 

*Please note that desired start time does not guarantee enrollment at that time*

When a spot becomes available, either immediately or at a projected date, the preschool will contact the parent by phone and/or e-mail. IT IS THE PARENT’S RESPONSIBILITY TO RESPOND WITHIN 48 HOURS. Please respond – yes, no, or that you would like to change desired start date. If there is no response after 48 hours, the child may be removed from the waitlist. If the parent decides again to inquire about their child attending, the parent may contact the preschool to inquire about reinstating their waitlist status. Reinstatement is made at the discretion of the director.

For the parent who responds during the 48 hour period, a spot will be held if the parent:

1. Brings a valid check for non-refundable Registration Fee of $50.00 (other payment methods are available by request)

2. Turns in a signed handbook agreement, tuition contract, state forms, and      immunization records

All other paperwork will be due when your child starts preschool.

If the parent fails to follow these procedures, their child’s spot may be given to someone else on the waitlist.
